EG Doors is part of the family run Everton Glassworks group.

Stanley Richards set up Everton Glass back in 1947 and his sons Alan and Stan joined forced with him in the 1960's. The sons helped their father develop the glass and decorating business.

After this Everton Glass branched out into ceramics, eventually leading to EG Ceramics, one of the largest tile retailers in the northwest, and also suppliers of interior wooden doors and external wooden doors. The door side ran hand in hand with the glass department, and became an important part of the business. With the rise of UPVC windows and doors the wooden door business was overtaken by the ceramic side of things.

Now with the introduction of EG Doors Stan and his son Jonathan firmly believe that wooden doors are back in a big way. Doors are not just put in your house for a purpose any more they can be a fashion statement or part of the decoration of the house.

With this in mind EG Doors have launched an up to date modern door showroom with over 70 doors on display all in a working setting. Ranges include oak doors, walnut and mahogany external doors, external and timber front doors, folding doors, sliding doors, oak interior doors, white moulded interior doors and internal fire doors.
